It’s taken me over 5 years to finally come up with a website I happy with (ish) and I actually finished it last year, a few people were told but for some reason i’ve not really told anyone and even worse I’ve stopped updating it ! OK so now I’m going to change all that and try to do a little blog every time I go and do some photography, what ever it may be and hopefully share more photo on here than I do on say my IG. If anyone has tips, ideas or would just like to see certain things then just let me know.

I don’t always have a plan but, this time I was out to look for little owls and Kingfishers, picking two species I hoped would mean that at least i’d get one, I was wrong. The best thing about not finding what you were hoping to find is that it makes you look at the things that are actually around you instead.

So you get to see birds that used to be in abundance but now for me rarely seen like the sparrow, or a bird like the Black bird which is a fabulous looking bird.

At this time of year you also starting seeing birds announcing they are the top bird around, this Pheasant actually shakes as it makes its call showing off its feathers.

So as it turned out I didn’t get to see any owls or Kingfishers for that matter, but it didn’t matter, being out is just great, immersing yourself in what surrounds you and for me being able to capture some of this fab nature is a real joy.
